The Kia Telluride is a mid-size three-row crossover SUV that makes family trips more comfortable and entertaining than ever before. There are ten trims in 2024, each with unique features and price levels. Each trim has a 3.8-liter V6 engine that delivers 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. This pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission and torque-vectoring front-wheel drive capabilities. Unless otherwise mentioned, all-wheel drive is optional.
LX Trim
The LX is the most affordable entry-level trim. With seating for up to eight people at a time, the LX features push-button start, privacy solar control glass, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Syntex upholstery, 18-inch silver finish alloy wheels, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors with LED turn signals. A 12.3-inch touch-screen multimedia system includes navigation services, SiriusXM satellite radio, Wi-Fi hotspot capabilities, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. The Kia Connect service is compatible with wireless devices to perform useful tasks remotely. A 4.2-inch instrument display provides quick access to different functions, including an odometer, fuel gauge, and average miles per gallon. The maximum towing capacity is 5,000 pounds.
The Telluride exemplifies safety and security with its standard blind-spot collision warning, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance, lane departure warning, lane keeping and following assist, highway driving assist 1.5, speed limit display, driver attention warning, rearview monitor, and navigation-based cruise control with stop and go technology. A forward collision warning will also take evasive actions to avoid a collision, even when pedestrians and cyclists are present. The maximum cargo capacity with rear seats folded down is 87 cubic feet.
S Trim
The S trim adds several premium features, including a leather-wrapped gear shift knob, 20-inch alloy wheels, a wireless phone charger, and heated front seats with an eight-way power driver's seat. With the addition of a more comfortable and spacious second-row captain's chair, the seating capacity lowers to seven. An optional sunroof package is also available.
EX Trim
The EX trim has full leather seating, ventilated front seats, a smart power liftgate, auto-dimming rearview mirror, LED tail lights, power-folding side mirrors, sound-absorbing front door windows, and a panoramic sunroof. There are eight seats, but the second-row captain's chair is an option.
EX X-Line
The EX-Line is the first trim to offer all-wheel drive with a center-locking differential as standard. The high-utility roof rails, increased ground clearance, self-leveling rear suspension, larger approach and departure angles, and tow mode equip the Telluride for all your big off-road adventures. It also features an exclusive X-Line Styling, embossed front seats, heated steering wheels, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Seven seats is once again the standard.
SX Trim
The SX trim delivers a true luxury experience. In addition to the EX features, it adds dual sunroofs, a 12.3-inch instrument panel, a Harmon Kardon premium audio system, 20-inch alloy wheels, seven seats, and a 10-way power driver's seat with memory. The digital key, enhanced automatic emergency braking, front parking sensors, highway driving assist 2, blind-spot, and surround view monitors provide extra safety and security. All-wheel drive is optional.
SX X-Line
The SX X-Line is an amalgamation between the premium features of the SX and the off-road features and all-wheel drive capabilities of the X-Line.
SX X-Pro
In addition to the SX features, the SX X-Pro trim increased ground clearance, self-leveling rear suspension, all-wheel drive capabilities, a 110-volt rear cargo power inverter, heated steering wheel, high-utility roof rails, embossed front seats, exclusive exterior and interior colors, and X-Pro 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires. It also has a maximum towing capacity of 5,500 pounds.
SX Prestige
The SX Prestige builds on everything great about the SX trim by adding luxurious Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated second-row seats, a full display mirror, rain-sensing windshield wipers, a 110-volt power outlet, a premium headliner, a heated steering wheel, all-wheel drive, and head-up display.
SX Prestige X-Line
The SX Prestige merges the luxurious SX Prestige features with the X-Line styling and off-road capabilities.
SX Prestige X-Pro
The SX Prestige X-Pro combines the SX Prestige and the SX X-Pro to produce the ultimate version of the Telluride.
